When you step into one of our stimulating and engaging one-year-old classrooms, you will observe a teacher sharing a cloth storybook with the children in her tightly-knit classroom. Through interactive storytelling, she actively engages the children by pointing out different objects in the story, introducing them to new vocabulary, and creating connections to the world around them through hands-on experiences. This encourages the children to recognize familiar objects and actively participate in the learning process.
Meanwhile, other children may be seen taking turns exploring their classroom by crawling through tunnels or pulling themselves up to peer out of the large windows, all while being serenaded by uplifting instrumental music during playtime. Our dedicated teachers not only encourage the exploration of different materials, but they also incorporate music and movement activities to stimulate learning.
Each child is individually nurtured. We understand the importance of strong caregiver-child relationships in fostering healthy development at this crucial age. Our teachers work diligently to form close bonds with each child to ensure their unique needs are effectively met.
